POST SEASON HONORS

This page is to pay tribute to the Monarch players who have earned All-Nebraska from the Omaha World-Herald, Lincoln Journal-Star or Suburban newspapers coaches polls, as well as other softball related awards and academic achievements.  This list also includes the Monarch players who were selected to participate in the Nebraska Coaches Association All-Star games after their senior years.

These girls have played an integral part in leading the Monarchs to the Nebraska State Tournament a record 30 consecutive times, including 16 State Championships and 6 runner-up finishes.

Since high school softball began in Nebraska, only 7 girls have been selected as First Team All-Nebraska all 4 years.  The Monarchs are honored to have had four of these players in our program.  They are:

Leigh Suhr - Class of 1998, Gina Metzler - Class of 2014, Jordyn Bahl and Brooke Dumont - Class of 2020.

Players noted in bold were selected as Honorary Captains.  The Monarchs have had 8 girls selected.  They are Tina Powers (1995), Hilary Stockwell, (1996), Leigh Suhr (1997), Peaches James (1998 & 1999), Karissa Hovinga (2010), Sam Dellinger (2015), Courtney Wallace (2017) and Jordyn Bahl (2019 & 2020).
