To all Alumni and Monarch Softball Program Supporters:

Please consider a nontaxable donation for our 2nd Annual Alumni Scholarship and/or to our Monarch Softball Program. The donations go to a Scholarship that our Seniors can apply for as well as upgrades to the Monarch Softball field and equipment.

We are trying to raise money to upgrade the Championship Banners to make them permanent at the field as well as a mural on the press box.

Our program has a 30 year tradition that is unmatched by any other program in Nebraska. Qualified 30 straight times for State with 16 State Championships and 6 State Runners Up. If you’re an alumni, hopefully our program had a positive impact on your life and if you’re a supporter, you’ve enjoyed following and keeping up to date on our program.

2023 Alumni Night

The 2023 Alumni game was held in conjunction with Future Monarch Night.

2021 Alumni Game

The Monarchs host Millard West @ 10:00 AM on September 25th. This day will combine a fund raiser with our annual alumni game.

We will be raising funds through t-shirt sales for Dana Geising and her fight against brain cancer. Dana was in attendance at many games over the years and is the aunt of Monarch alumnus Anna Fitzgerald.

We will also be taking donations for our "pay it forward" scholarship. This scholarship will happen annually and award to a few senior recipients each year that have applied for and have been selected by an alumni panel. This will help the winners with college expenses. The scholarship will begin with a free will donation made by Cori and David Bernhagen. Cori is the mother of Monarch alumnus Mia Jarecki.

Ace's Place / 2019 Alumni Game - September 03, 2019

The Monarch's home game against the Papillion-LaVista South Titans was a fund-raiser for Ace's Place as well as our annual alumni reunion. Ace Moudy was the son of former Monarch catcher Megan Southworth-Moudy and her husband Mike, who are both former student athletes for the Nebraska Cornhuskers. Ace passed away unexpectedly on April 05, 2019. In his honor, a playground is being built at Bowlin Stadium in Lincoln, home of the Cornhusker Softball team. This event raised $754.00 for this very worthy cause.

Monarch Alumni Reunion - September 30, 2017

To begin what will now be an annual event, on September 30, 2017, Papillion-LaVista held a Monarch Softball Alumni day to commemorate 25 years of sanctioned high school softball in the State Of Nebraska, and the success of the Monarch program over the years.

The event was held between games of the annual triangular with the two other schools.

Players and coaches from the 1992 to 2016 teams were invited to attend. 37 former players and a former coach were in attendance and were recognized in between games.
