Maizey Carpenter and Amanda Gibilisco each had two hits to pace the Monarchs as the girls started their pursuit of another title with an opening night victory.  Carpenter added a double, a walk, a stolen base and scored three times.  Gibilisco had 2 runs and 2 RBI's.  Elli Ridgely walked twice and also scored three times.  Alison Dibelka had a hit, a walk, a stolen base and 2 RBI's.  Avery Wolfe hit a RBI double, had a stolen base, and also scored.  Alexa Harms hit a triple and a run.  Bella Meyer-Koenig had a hit and an RBI.  Toria Rother and Alexa Taylor each reached base on a walk.  Holiday Kirk scored twice and Drew Trofholz once in pinch running roles.  

Carly Bertlini struck out 6 in 4 innings in the circle, while adding an RBI double at the plate..  

The game was a pitching dual until the Monarch broke through with 2 runs in the bottom of the 5th inning.  Amanda Gibilisco three a shutout with 6 strikeouts.  

Toria Rother had two hits including a double, a stolen base and the only RBI.  Elli Ridgley had a hit and a stolen base.  Alexa Taylor had a hit and a run.  Taylor Schommer had a walk and the other run.  Avery Wolfe had a double with Carly Bertolini getting the team's other hit.  Holiday Kirk had a stolen base as a pinch runner.  

After getting 3 runs in the first inning, the Crusaders scored 4 in the third inning to take the lead.  The Monarchs tied it in the 5th inning.  Due to a time limit, the game then moved to a tie breaker.   Amanda Gibilisco held the Crusaders in the top of the 6th, and earned the win in relief with 4 strikeouts.  

The Monarchs pulled out the win in the bottom of the 6th inning as Allison Dibelka singled over the infield to drive in Avery Wolfe with the winning run.  Wolfe laos had a double at the plate.  Gibilisco had a double and a triple as well as a sacrifice flyout  at the plate, scoring one and driving in 2 runs.  Maizey Carpenter walked twice, had a stolen base and scored twice.  Toria Rother had the team's other hit.  Carly Bertolini started the game in the circle striking out 1 and had an RBI at the plate.  

In a well pitched game by both teams that went in to the tie breaker rule in the 7th inning, after both teams scored one in the 9th, the Monarchs finally picked up the win in the bottom of the 11th inning.  

Carly Bertolini pitched 9 innings with 11 strikeouts.  Amanda Gibilisco picked up the win in relief by pitching the final two innings with 4 strikeouts.  

Alexa Taylor drove in both Monarch runs, with the game winner being a sacrifice fly out.  Gibilisco, Avery Wolfe (double) and Elli Ridgley each had 2 hits.Gibilisco scored twice.  Wolfe added a stolen base. 

Allison Dibelka  had a hit and and a stolen base, with Toria Rother getting the teams other hit.  Bella Arriola had a stolen base as a courtesy runner.  

Bella Meyer Koenig, Amanda Gibilisco, Avery Wolfe and Toria Rother each had hits for the Monarchs.   had 4 hits in the game.  Bella Arriloa scored the only run as a courtesy runner on a ground out by Alexa Taylor.

Amanda Gibilisco pitched a complete game 5 hitter with 8 strikeouts, and had a double and an RBI at the plate.  Alexa Taylor, Maizey Carpenter and Elli Ridgley and Carly Bertolini (double) each had two hits.  Toria Rother, Allison Dibelka (double) and Taylor Schommer (triple) also had hits.  Ridgley, Taylor and Rother also reach base on walks.  Taylor and Carpenter each scored twice with the other runs by Aurelia Grams, Reese Fitzgerald, Drew Trofholz, Ridgley and Schommer.  Ridgley and Rother had 2 RBI's with the other RBI's by Taylor, Bertolini and Schommer.  Taylor, Grams and Dibelka also had stolen bases.  

Amanda Gibilisco pitched a 5 inning 4 hitter with 4 strikeouts for the win in the circle.  

Allison Debelka, Maizey Carpenter and Bella Meyer-Koenig, Toria Rother, Alexa Taylor, Elli Ridgley and Reese Haberer each had a hit for the Monarchs.  

Meyer-Koenig hit a 2 RBI triple and scored.  Dibelka also walked, had 2 stolen bases, a run and 2 RBI's.  Carpenter also walked, had 3 stolen bases and scored twice.  Rother also walked and had an RBI.  Ridgley scored and had an RBI.  Taylor had a stolen base and an RBI.  Avery Wolfe walked, had a stolen base and a run.  Gibilisco walked twice.  Drew Trofholz had 4 stolen bases and Reese Fitzgerald 1 steal in courtesy and pinch runner roles.  

Carly Bertolini threw a 4 inning 5 hitter with 1 strikeout and no walks to earn the win in the circle.

Ridgley had a triple and a double, a stolen base, scored 3 times and had 2 RBI's.  Rother's hits included a double with 2 RBI's.  Carpenter also had a double with a run and an RBI.  Dibelka had a run and an RBI.  Taylor had 2 runs and 2 RBI's.  Wolfe scored once while Meyer-Koenig had a run and 2 RBI's.  Amanda Gibilisco reached base twice on a walk and a hit by pitch.  Drew Trofholz had a stolen base for her 5th steal of the day.  

Toria Rother had 3 hits including 2 doubles and a run scored to pace the Monarchs.  Alexa Taylor had 2 hits and an RBI.  Allison Dibelka and Maizey Carpenter each had a hit, a run and an RBI.  Carpenter also reach base on a walk and had a stolen base.  Avery Wolfe had the team's other hit, and had a sacrifice flyout driving in 2 runs.  Reese Haberer reached base on a hit by pitcher.  Drew Trofholz had a stolen base and two runs scored as a courtesy runner.  

Amanda Gibilisco and Carly Bertolini split the pitching duties, each striking out 2 hitters.  

With the win in this game, the Monarchs achieved the 1000th victory in program history.  

Toria Rother tied a school record with 4 hits, and drove in 2 runs.  Rother had 7 hits on the day.  

Maizey Carpenter and Avery Wolfe had two hits each with Carpenter adding a walk, a stolen base, 2 runs and an RBI.  Wolfe score a run and had 2 RBI's.  Aurelia Grams reached base on a walk, scored twice and had an RBI.  Bella Meyer-Koenig had a hit, reached base on a hit by pitcher and drive in one.  Elli Ridgley had a walk and an RBI.  Reese Haberer reach base on a walk and scored.  Alexa Taylor also reached base on a walk.  Reese Fitzgerald had a stolen base.  

Carly Bertolini pitched a complete game for the win with 3 strikeouts.  

The Monarchs came out on top of a well pitched game by both teams, scoring the go ahead run in the tope of the 5th inning.  

Maizey Carpenter drove in courtesy runner Drew Trofholz, who was running for Toria Rother and had stolen second base, with a base hit in the third inning, and Rother hit a sacrifice fly to drive in courtesy runner Reese Fitzgerald, running for Carly Bertolini, who had doubled, in the fifth.   

Bella Meyer-Koenig, Alexa Taylor, and Allison Dibelka (double) had the other hits.  Reese Haberer also reached base on a walk.

Amanda Gibilisco and Bertolini split the pitching duties, each striking out 5 hitters, with Bertolini picking up the win in relief.  

Kaylee Huffman threw a 4 inning no-hitter earning her first Varsity win in the circle while striking out 9 with no walks.  

Maizey Carpenter has 2 hits including a homerun with 2 runs, a stolen base and 2 RBI's.  Reese Haberer and Bella Arriola (inside the park) each hit their first Varsity homeruns.  

Holiday Kirk had 2 hits including a double and added a stolen base, with 2 runs and 3 RBI's.  

Stella Manning had a hit and a run, Elli Ridgley had a hit and an RBI.  Avery Wolfe had a hit, a stolen base, a run and an RBI on a sacrifice fly out.  Alexa Taylor had a hit a run and an RBI.  Toria Rother also drove in an RBI on a sacrifice flyout.  Drew Trofholz and Reese Fitzgerald each had stolen bases as courtesy runners.  

Amanda Gibilisco threw a 5 inning shutout with 7 strikeouts, and contributed a hit and a walk at the plate.  

Avery Wolfe had two hits, including a double, with 2 runs scored.  Alexa Taylor also had 2 hits with a run and an RBI.  Elli Ridgley doubled, walked twice and had 3 RBI's.  Maizey Carpenter doubled, walked, scored twice and had an RBI.  Allison Dibelka had an RBI sacrifice flyout.  Toria Rither and Stella Manning had the teams other hits.  Reese Fitzgerald and Drew Trofholz each scored a run as courtesy runners with Trofholz also getting a stolen base.  

in teh third meeting of the teams this season, it was a back and forth game that saw each team take the lead at one point.  After the Storm tied the game in the 6th inning, Maizey Carpenter doubled in the bottom of the 6th to drive in Bella Meyer-Koenig, who had reached base on a walk and was sacrificed to second by Toria Rother.  

Carpenter also had a stolen base and a run scored.  Elli Ridgley had a double, a run and 2 RBI's.  Allison Dibelka had 2 hits and a stolen base.  Amanda Gibilisco had a hit, 2 walks, a run and a stolen base.  Alexa Taylor had a hit, a stolen base, a run and and RBI.  Rother picked up the team's other hit.  Drew Trofholz had a stolen base.  

Carly Bertolini pitched a complete game to earn the win in the circle, giving up 2 earned runs, with 3 strikeouts.  

Maizey Carpenter had 2 hits, 2 runs and a stolen base.  Amanda Gibilisco and Alexa Taylor each had a hit and an RBI.  Bella Meyer-Koenig, Elli Ridgley and Allison Dibelka each had hits with Meyer-Koenig also reaching base on a walk.  Avery Wolfe scored the other run.  

Gibilisco and Carly Bertolini split the pitching duties.  Gibilisco had 3 strikeouts and Bertolini had 2.  

In another well pitched game by both teams, the Chieftans pulled out a victory over the Monarchs with a 2 out game winning homerun in the bottom of the 7th inning.

Maizey Carpenter and Toria Rother led the Monarch hitters with 2 hits each with Carpenter getting 2 stolen bases.  Alexa Taylor picked up the teams other hit.  Gibilisco drove in the only run with a sacrifice bunt that scored courtesy runner Drew Trofholz, who had stolen third base.  

In a tight game on the day of our annual fundraiser with our friends at Millard West, the Wildcats pulled out a victory in the top of the 7th inning.  

The fundraiser this year was for the Alzheimers Association, and raised $1,264.00.  

Toria Rother picked up 2 hits and drove in one of the Monarch runs.  Alexa Taylor had a double, two walks, a stolen base and drive in the other run.  Maizey Carpenter and Reese Haberer each reached base on walks 3 times.  Carpenter added a stolen base.  Elli Ridgley had a hit and a run.  Bella Meyer-Koenig also reached base on a walk.  Avery Wolfe scored the other run.  Drew Trofholz had 2 stolen bases.  

Carly Bertolini pitched a complete game with 5 strikeouts.  

District Tournament: Game 1

The Monarchs picked up 13 hits with Bella Meyer-Koenig and Maizey Carpenter leading the team with 3 each.  Toria Rother and Alexa Taylor had 2 hits.  Carpenter hit a 3 run homerun in the 6th inning.  Doubles by Carpenter, Rother and Carly Bertolini.  Elli Ridgley hit a triple.  Avery Wolfe had the team's other hit.  Bella Arriola reach base twice on walks.  Allison Dibelka and Reese Haberer each walked once.  Runs by Carpenter (2), Taylor, Rothe, Ridgley and Dibelka.  RBI's by Carpenter (3), Meyer-Koenig (2) and Ridgley.  Carpenter and Meyer-Koenig had stolen bases.  

Amanda Gibilisco and Bertolini combined in the circle on a  hitter.  Gibilisco struck out 3 and Bertolini struck out 6 and earned the win.  

District Tournament: Game 2

Avery Wolfe hit a double to score Elli Ridgley in the bottom of the 8th inning to secure the victory for the Monarchs.  Earlier in the game, Reese Haberer drove in 4 runs with a single and a 3 run homerun.  Allison Dibelkas had 2 hits and drove in the other run.  Bella Arriola had the team's other hit and also reached based on a walk.  Maizey Carpenter reached base on a walk and on a hit by pitcher, stole a base and scored twice.  Haberer, Toria Rother and Holiday Kirk each walked.  Drew Trofholz had a stolen base and scored twice.  Other stolen bases by Wolfe, Aurelia Grams and Kennedy Brown.  

Carly Bertolini pitched a complete game for the win in the circle with 6 strikeouts.  

District Tournament: Game 3

Bella Meyer-Koenig broke the game open with a 2 run homerun in the 6th inning.  Toria Rother and Allison Dibelka each had three hits as the Monarchs collected 14 during the game.  The Monarchs also had 11 stolen bases.  

Dibelka had a double, a triple a run and 2 RBI's.  Rother had a RBI.  Maizey Carpenter had 2 hits, 2 stolen bases and a run scored.  Meyer-Koenig had 2 runs and 3 RBI's.  Elli Ridgley had a hit, a walk, 2 stolen bases and a run scored.  Alexa Taylor had a hit a stolen base and a run scored.  Avery Wolfe had a hit and a stolen base.  Bella Arriola and Reese Haberer each had a hit and an RBI.  Amanda Gibilisco reach base on a walk.  Drew Trofholz had 3 stolen bases and 2 runs scored.  Kennedy Brown had a stolen base and a run.  Holiday Kirk had the other stolen base.  

Carly Bertolini threw a complete game allowing only 2 runs with 4 strikeouts.

This was the final home game for Seniors Carly Bertolini, Amanda Gibilisco, Holiday Kirk and Avery Wolfe. 

Nebraska Class A State Tournament - Game 1 

Allison Dibelka tied the school record with 4 hits in one game to lead the Monarchs to their 31st consecutive first game win in the State Tournament.  Dibelka scored once and had 2 RBI's.  Bella Meyer-Koenig has a hit, a run and 3 RBI's.  Elli Ridgley had a hit. a walk, a stolen base and also scored.  Bella Arriola had a hit and an RBI.  Alexa Taylor and Avery Wolfe each had a hit and a stolen base.  Maizey Carpenter reached base twice on walks, stole two bases and scored a run.  Toria Rother had the team's other hit.  Reese Haberer reached base on a hit by pitcher.  Drew Trofholz added a stolen base.  

Carly Bertolini earned the win in the circle with 5 strikeouts in 5 1/3 innings.  Kaylee Huffman picked up the save with 3 strikeouts in 1 2/3 innings.  

Nebraska Class A State Tournament - Game 2

Alexa Taylor (hit) and Allison Dibelka (hit by pitcher) were the only two Monarchs to reach base against a very strong Dragon team.  

With senior starting pitchers Carly Bertolini and Amanda Gibilisco out wiith unjuries, Kaylee Huffman and Taylor Schommer stepped up and split the pitching duties.    

Nebraska Class A State Tournament - Game 3

The Monarchs came back from a 3-1 deficit with 3 runs in the bottom of the 6th inning to earn the victory over the Chieftans.  After Maizey Carpenter scored on an Allison Dibelka ground out, Elli Ridgley singled in courtesy runner Drew Trofholz and pinch runner Kennedy Brown.  Alexa Taylor had scored the first run of the game on a ground out by Toria Rother.  

Other hits by Carpenter (double), Alexa Taylor and Rother.  Stolen bases by Taylor (2). Carpenter, Ridgley, Brown and Trofholz.  Bella Meyer-Koenig and Reese Haberer each reached base on walks.  

Kaylee Huffman (4 innings / 4 Strikeouts) and Taylor Schommer (3 innings / 5 Strikeouts) again stepped in to share the pitching duties with Schommer earning her first varsity win.  

Nebraska Class A State Tournament - Game 4

Maizey Carpenter had the Monarchs only 2 hits and added a stolen base. 

Taylor Schommer (1 strikeout) and Kaylee Huffman split time in the circle.  

The Monarchs season ends with a 27-11 record and a final 4 finish in the state tournament.
