Since 1992, the talented softball players at Papillion-LaVista High School have led the Monarchs to 17 State Championships and 6 runner up finishes in 31 State Tournament appearances.
The girls individual performances and leadership on the field have also led to many individual honors. The Monarchs have had 59 girls selected one or more times by the Class A high school coaches and the Omaha World-Herald or Lincoln Journal-Star as All-Nebraska selections.
Following are those girls and the year(s) in which they were selected. The players marked with an * were selected as the honorary captains of that years team. The players marked with an # were selected to the Omaha World-Herald 2018 Silver Anniversary team.
As of 2020, only 7 girls have been selected as All-Nebraska since softball became a sanctioned sport. The Monarchs have had 4 of those girls. They are Leigh Suhr, Gina Metzler, Jordyn Bahl and Brooke Dumont.
In 2020, Jordyn Bahl joined Peaches James as girls being selected All-Nebraska team captains in both their junior and senior years.
